Allulose Crystalline Powder
Zero-calorie sweetness for baking and beverages without the bitter aftertaste of other sugar substitutes.
What it is
Allulose is a rare sugar naturally found in small amounts in foods like figs and maple syrup. It's processed by your body differently than regular sugar, providing sweetness without the calories.
Flavor and texture
Tastes remarkably similar to regular white sugar with clean sweetness and no aftertaste. Dissolves easily and has the same crystalline texture as sugar.
Best uses
Use in baking, coffee, tea, smoothies, and anywhere you'd use regular sugar. Works especially well in cookies, cakes, and homemade jams where you want to reduce calories.
Storage & freshness
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry pantry away from moisture.
| As purchased | 6-12 monthsdepends on bin exposure and humidity |
| Sealed (pantry) | 2-3 yearsif kept airtight and dry |
| Refrigerated | 3-4 yearsextends shelf life in humid climates |
| Frozen | 4-5 yearsvirtually indefinite if kept dry |
Durations are for best quality. Safe to consume longer if no spoilage signs present.
Allulose is highly hygroscopic and will absorb moisture from air, causing clumping and degradation of sweetness.
Cooking tip
Use about 1⅓ cups of allulose to replace 1 cup of regular sugar in recipes, as it's slightly less sweet than sugar.
Interesting note
Unlike artificial sweeteners, allulose is absorbed by your body but then excreted unchanged, so it provides virtually no calories despite being a real sugar.
